A lovely evening

Tonight I was inspired in the supermarket to cook a lovely meal since I knew Dave would be home later. He was picking up his long-awaited bike from the store. I bought wholegrain fusili pasta, bacon, chicken, pesto, mushrooms and spinach and made a yummy pasta dish! Dave rated it a 9.2/10 (I thought he should have given it a 10/10). I had to call Mum back in NZ to ask for a reminder on how to make a white sauce, basic but important! Here is a shot of our dinner (inspired by my blog friend Mel who always has such tasty food shots on her blog.)

After, while Dave did the dishes I sat down and scrapped!!! Horror of horrors! It has been a while since I scrapped at home as I always seem to get caught up in reading forums and hopping through peoples blogs. I made a simple page inspired by my Scrapbook Inspiration ideas book. Here is a look at my creation tonight:

How is everyones week going? I am now 1 day away from leaving my job and a weeks holiday before embarking on my new adventure with Flight Centre! Very excited.

Progress report and Blogging for Scrapbookers

So…I said I would be updating the look of my blog and designing it from scratch…well…it turned out I really was taking a way to big bite of something that is far far more complicated than I thought!!! So, what we have at present is a half edited theme I downloaded and slowly am working out ho to modify to best suit me.

Somewhere along the lines of updating software, changing themes and playing around with the code I broke the links to the photos. So that is something on my list to fix. As I look at the blog now it is very wordy and totally boring!!!

Here is a photo just to break things up.
Or not…It won’t let me add a photo at this stage as I have apparently broken a lot of my site in mucking around with things

A day out with the girls (the boy is behind the camera!)

Oh look! My darling boy fixed it! I tell you, having a mechanic Dad and a computer literate Boyfriend is amazing…solves almost all of lifes problems.

So, next on my agenda is a class from Shimelle which she ran last August. As with all Shimelle classes the forum stays open and all content can be used at any time. So I am fitting this in before Journalling My Christmas (also with Shimelle!)

As I am working to a tight timeline I will be trying to blog and work on this class as much as possible before JYC starts Dec 1st. Feel free to check up on me as I progress along.

Here is my first post in relation to BFS as it shall now be referred to!

My intentions while BFS-ing are:
- Blog more regularly e.g 2-3xweek
- Make my posts more interesting.
- Draw in more followers to gain feedback.
- Keep my content diverse and writing fresh.
- Enjoy it!!
